In my quest to collect and document our country’s dynamic street foods, i started with Chapatis somewhere in Kawangware. This kind of photography is challenging because many street vendors don’t like to be photographed but with a little talking, i managed a few shots.
I will be sharing these kind of images from all places that i visit.

Likest this; this is creativity at work. I love not only the pictures but the concept behind it; sharing life of the common mwananchi with the us… keep it up.
Lakini those chapos are so yummy jameni…

Thanks Zawa Di, my plan is to collect as much as possible, the foods that we eat there on the streets.

The first shot of the guy’s hands with the dirty nails put me off, scrolling further down, I’m now like “mmh..germs have all be killed by the heat” I would eat the chapos any day.
